PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley Basketball season-ticket prices will increase for the first time in six years, but the school is adding benefits for all season-ticket holders and introducing improved premium seating at Carver Arena, according to the 2013-14 men's basketball ticket plan announced today.
Bradley enjoyed one of the best turnarounds in the nation during the 2012-13 campaign, improving from 7-25 in 2011-12 to 18-17 this past season while advancing to the quarterfinals of the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament. Bradley's improvement at home was pivotal in the overall turnaround as the Braves were 14-4 at Carver Arena (11-4) and Renaissance Coliseum (3-0) to equal the most home wins since the 1993-94 Braves went 16-0 at home.
Though season-ticket prices will increase in all of the Carver Arena sections for the first time since the 2007-08 campaign, Bradley will continue to offer budget-friendly and maintenance free season-ticket packages in designated upper-bowl sections at Carver Arena. In addition, five of the season-ticket levels will include games in Bradley's on-campus arena at Renaissance Coliseum. In all, Bradley will offer season-ticket options at seven different price points with new labels: Courtside, Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, Red and White.
Bradley Basketball 2013-14 season-ticket buyers will receive an OfficeMax Retail Connect Card, which will provide shoppers Bradley University's discounted, corporate prices for products and services at more than 900 OfficeMax stores worldwide. In addition, season-ticket holders will have the opportunity to attend one of four free breakfasts with men's basketball head coach Geno Ford and Director of Athletics Dr. Michael Cross next fall: all season-ticket holders will be sent information on the exact dates and the first 60 RSVPs to each breakfast will receive complimentary admission.
Bradley Athletics also will give away “20 prizes in 20 days” to season-ticket buyers and applicants (dates to be announced). Once season-ticket renewal forms or applications have been received at the Bradley Athletics Ticket Office, the name will be entered into the 20-day drawing for high-end prizes to include autographed memorabilia, tickets to Bradley events and upgraded game seats. One season-ticket holder will be recognized on the video board at each home game throughout the 2013-14 season and season-ticket holders will receive monthly e-newsletters with information on upcoming events and exclusive discounts.
Season tickets in five of the seven levels require annual maintenance fees, which are not increasing and may be applied to Braves Club membership, creating added benefits.
As part of the revamped ticket plan, Bradley also is introducing premium courtside seating along the sideline across from the team benches, which will bring the front row up onto an expanded playing surface and reduce the three rows on the risers in front of the Carver Arena hockey dasher boards to two rows, all with new leather chairs in a more spacious seating area.

Bradley will continue to play a minimum of 15 games in its primary home venue in downtown Peoria, however, scheduling conflicts at Carver Arena next winter will force the Braves to play at least two regular-season games on campus at Renaissance Coliseum. Including the traditional on-campus exhibition game, comparable seats for all three games at Renaissance Coliseum will be included in a complete season-ticket package at the Courtside, Platinum, Gold and Silver levels, a first since Bradley began playing multiple preseason exhibition games in 1988.
Season-ticket buyers at the Bronze level may choose one of the three games at Renaissance Coliseum to be included in their season-ticket package, while season-ticket holders at all levels will be given the option to purchase available seats for any of the three Renaissance Coliseum games at reduced rates during a priority purchasing period.
Single-game ticket prices and purchasing dates will be announced when the 2013-14 Bradley men's basketball schedule is released. Though the school is still assembling its complete 2013-14 slate, the Braves will host current Big East Conference member South Florida, Central Michigan and IUPUI in continuation of non-conference series that began with road games last season. The Braves also will host UT-Pan American for a second consecutive year and will play three home games as part of an exempted multi-team event.
