Leading Off
•  Bradley will wrap up its first home stand of the season Tuesday by hosting nearby Eureka College in a 6 p.m. game Tuesday at Peoria Chiefs Stadium.
•  Following Tuesday's game, Bradley is scheduled to play eight of its next 11 games on the road, starting with a weekend Missouri Valley Conference series at Creighton.
•  Freshman RHP Eric Scheuermann (2-1, 5.12 ERA) will get the starting nod Tuesday, but the Braves are expected to use several pitchers in the midweek contest.
•  Senior LF Mike Tauchman was 6-for-11 with three doubles during the weekend series versus Evansville and has extended his career-best hitting streak to 17 games.
•  Tauchman, who has produced multiple hits in 15 of Bradley's 23 games this season and is second in the MVC with a .421 batting average, begins the week with 200 career base hits and eight shy of cracking Bradley's all-time Top 10 list.
•  Bradley begins the week tied for first in The MVC with a .304 average and the Braves boast three of the league's top 11 hitters.
