PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley men's golf team looks to continue its recent run of low scores when the Braves take part in the Missouri Valley Conference Championship Monday and Tuesday at the par-72 Dalhousie Country Club in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Bradley has carded four of its five lowest rounds of the season in the last four weeks, including matching the lowest round in program history (282) at the Bradley Invitational earlier this month and is coming off a final-round 294 at the Kemper Intercollegiate in Glenview, Ill., in the team's last tournament.

Play at the MVC Championship is scheduled to begin Monday morning and will include two rounds on the opening day.  The final round is slated to tee off Tuesday morning.  BradleyBraves.com will provide a link to live scoring for all three rounds.

Sophomore Seth Trolia (Mahomet, Ill./Seymour) has been Bradley's top finisher in three of the last five tournaments and owns a team-best 75.8 stroke average this season.  Trolia, who fired a season-best 71 in the final round at the Kemper Intercollegiate, has posted a 74.9 average this spring and needs to shoot a 229 (76.3) to finish the year with one of the top 10 season stroke averages in school history.

Sophomore Danny Masrin (Palatine, Ill./Jakarta International School) has also had a strong spring, owning a 76.3 average since Bradley opened the spring season in mid-March.  He has averaged 76.1 per round in the last three tournaments and is second on the team this year with a 76.8 average.

Junior Kyle Gunther (Dunlap, Ill./Peoria Christian) has also been playing some of his best golf as of late, boasting a 75.8 average in his last five rounds.  He enters the MVC Championship third on the team with a 77.5 stroke average.

Junior Daniel Young (Metamora, Ill./Metamora) paced the Braves at the Beu Mussatto Invitational in Macomb, Ill., at the end of March behind a career-best second-round 69 and has averaged 76.9 shots per round in the last three outings.  Young has averaged 77.8 per round this spring to lower his season average to 79.4.

Helping round out the lineup is junior Andrew Weisenborn (Columbia, Ill./Columbia), who has also turned in some of his strongest efforts of the year lately.  The medalist at the Bradley Invitational earlier this month, Weisenborn has posted a 75.7 average in his last seven efforts and his 76.7 spring average has brought his season average down to 79.1 per round.
