PEORIA, Ill. – After scoring in each of its final three innings in Sunday's rally against Evansville, Bradley (11-13) kept the streak alive by scoring in all six innings Tuesday while cruising to a 20-0 victory against Eureka (4-7) at Peoria Chiefs Stadium.

While the Bradley offense was pounding out 20 hits from 13 different players, seven Braves pitchers combined on a 2-hit shutout.  Most notably, redshirt freshman left-hander Cameron Roegner made his college debut, recording two of the staff's 12 strikeouts in the sixth inning.

Freshman Nolan Sponsler led the offensive attack by going 4-for-6 with three runs scored and three runs batted in.  Senior third baseman David Compitello added three hits and scored four runs, while freshman shortstop Tyler Leffler was 2-for-4 with three RBI's and junior designated hitter Greg Partyka also drove in three runs.

The 20 hits equaled the second-most ever for the Braves in a 7-inning game, while Bradley set a Peoria Chiefs Stadium record with seven stolen bases, all in the first three innings.  Senior leftfielder Mike Tauchman, who was 1-for-1 with two walks set the individual stadium record with four steals in the first two innings, the second-most ever by a Brave in any ballpark.

Having closed out its season-opening, 4-game home stand, Bradley will play eight of its next 11 games on the road, beginning with a weekend 3-game set at Creighton.  Sophomore left-hander David Koll is slated to take the mound for Friday's 6 p.m. series opener at TD Ameritrade Park, home of the College World Series.
