ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- For the second time this fall and 12th time in her career, junior Danielle Lemek (Doniphan, Neb./Doniphan-Trumbull) has been selected as the Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week according to an announcement by the league office Wednesday afternoon.

Lemek was the top MVC finisher at the Johnie Imes Invitational in Columbia, Mo., which featured seven teams ranked in the top 100 according to Golfweek.com and 11 squads rated in the top 150.  After opening play with a pair of one-under 71's at the par-72 Club at Old Hawthorne Monday, Lemek shot a two-over 74 Tuesday to finish at even par 216 and tie for 14th overall.

Lemek, who had a streak of four consecutive rounds under par heading into the final round, extended her streak of consecutive sub-80 rounds to 15 (one off her personal best) for the fourth longest streak in program history and has five straight rounds of 74 or lower.

She earned MVC Golfer of the Week honors earlier this fall after claiming medalist honors at the Cardinal Cup in Louisville, Ky., back on Sept. 16.  The 2013-14 MVC Golfer of the Year, Lemek leads the Missouri Valley Conference with a 72.56 stroke average.

Lemek joins Illinois State's Samantha Richdale as the only 12-time MVC Golfer of the Week honorees in league history.  Richdale earned the honor a conference record 17 times between 2002-03 and 2005-06.

The Bradley women's golf team returns to action next Monday and Tuesday at the Cincinnati Fall Invitational in Maineville, Ohio, before finishing off the fall schedule Nov. 2-4 at the Pat Bradley Invitational in Sarasota, Fla.
