Although the Colorado Rockies optioned former Bradley pitcher Rob Scahill back to Triple-A Colorado Springs Friday to put a damper on the baseball Braves in the Pros weekly update, there is plenty of good news to report. Notably, Max Murphy and Mike Tauchman continue to swing red-hot bats.

Booden picked up his first win of the season Saturday by tossing 2.0 scoreless innings in State College's 3-2 win against Jamestown ... The 6-foot-9 righthander struck out three and did not allow a hit nor walk in his sixth consecutive scoreless outing ... For the season, Booden is 1-1 with a 2.03 ERA and .089 opponent batting average in 13.1 innings spanning nine appearances.

Leblebijian drove in the tying run with a 14th-inning single, helping Lansing rally for a 2-1 win against Great Lakes Friday in Midwest League action ... Hitting .237 on the season, Leblebijian is batting .316 with four walks, four runs scored and three RBI's in his last five games ... The Lugnuts are scheduled to visit Peoria July 23-25.

Murphy continues to swing a hot bat and in keeping with his Bradley performance, he has reached base safely in 15 consecutive games since going 0-for-3 in his pro debut June 19 ... Murphy has hit a double and a home run in each of his last two games, going 3-for-3 with four RBI's in Monday's 15-7 win at Johnson City ... Through his first 16 games, Murphy is batting .411 with 12 extra-base hits (five home runs) and a 1.353 OPS ... With 17 runs scored and 15 RBI's, minus his five home runs that counted toward both totals, Murphy has produced 27 runs in 16 games (1.69 runs produced per game) ... For comparison's sake, Detroit Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera currently leads Major League Baseball by producing 1.27 runs per game.

The Colorado Rockies optioned Rob Scahill back to their Triple-A affiliate in Colorado Springs Friday to free up a roster spot for fellow right-handed pitcher Jair Jurrjens ... In his first appearance upon returning to the Sky Sox, Scahill allowed Omaha's final run in a 7-2 loss ... In 25 appearances for Colorado Springs surrounding his Rockies call-up, Scahill is 1-1 with one save and a 4.08 ERA.
Mike Tauchman | Modesto Nuts | Class A Advanced California League | Colorado Rockies
In his first 10 games since his promotion to Modesto, Tauchman is batting .371 with two doubles, three home runs and a 1.149 OPS ... Tauchman has reached base safely in each of the last six games, capped by a 3-for-4 performance Monday ... In Monday's 9-8 win at Bakersfield, Tauchman started Modesto's game-winning rally in the ninth with a 2-out single, scoring the tying run on Jordan Ribera's 2-run home run.
