Box Score EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Logan Ketterer made three saves for his first career shutout and Bradley (2-4-0) got its offense rolling again en route to a 4-0 win against Marshall (0-3-2) in the opening game of the Aces ProRehab Classic Friday evening at McCutchan Stadium.
Junior Jason Lesch scored the game-winner in the seventh minute and later added an assist to pace the Braves, who earned their first shutout of the season. Freshman defender Falk Dennert added his first career goal in the 51st minute, sophomore forward Christian Okeke chipped in his first goal of the year in the 54th minute and junior defender Joe Morales tacked on his first career goal in the 81st minute to complete the scoring.
Bradley did not allow Marshall its first shot until the 37th minute and the Braves finished the game with a 12-8 advantage in shots. Marshall managed to get just three of its eight shots on target and Ketterer saved all three to earn the shutout in his second career start.
The Braves will return to action Sunday by facing former associate head coach Brad Ruzzo and his Mercer Bears in a 1:30 p.m. contest at McCutchan Stadium.
