PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley Athletics is changing up its preseason events schedule by introducing two free events designed to engage and excite its fan base before tipping off the 2014-15 season.
Bradley University's 2014 Homecoming schedule will include the inaugural Bradley Basketball Red-White River Jam Oct. 17 on the Peoria RiverFront and season-ticket holders will get a sneak peak at the 2014-15 Braves on the court by attending practice Oct. 29 at Renaissance Coliseum.

The Bradley men's and women's basketball teams will take their talents to the Peoria RiverFront for an evening of free entertainment and team interaction with the Peoria community during the inaugural Bradley Basketball Red-White River Jam Oct. 17.
While the men's and women's student-athletes will showcase their basketball talents in 3-point shooting, 2-ball and dunk contests on the circle drive at the base of Main Street, the family-friendly festival will include face painting, inflatables, autograph stations and photo opportunities with Kaboom! throughout Festival Park, as well as a live performance on the CEFCU Center Stage @ The Landing by 90's Daughter, voted “Best Band” in Champaign-Urbana by Buzz Magazine. Fourth-year Bradley men's basketball coach Geno Ford and third-year women's basketball head coach Michael Brooks both will address the crowd prior to the performance by 90's Daughter.
In addition to the free entertainment and interaction activities, local food and beverage vendors will be serving visitors in the parking area adjacent to the Gateway Building throughout the evening.

Bradley's 2014-15 men's basketball season-ticket holders and Marquee Three ticket package buyers are invited to attend practice Oct. 29 from 6-8 p.m. in the main arena at Renaissance Coliseum. The practice session is an exclusive opportunity for season-ticket and Marquee Three ticket buyers to watch the Braves prepare for the upcoming season at no additional charge. Parking is free at Renaissance Coliseum, where the Bradley Athletics Ticket Office, Bradley adidas Team Store and concessions stands all will be open.
Season tickets will be available for pickup beginning Tuesday, Oct. 28 at the Bradley Basketball Ticket Office in Renaissance Coliseum, which will be open for extended hours Oct. 29 through the practice session. In addition to the on-going sale of 2014-15 Bradley Basketball season tickets, which are available for as low as $110 for Bradley's 17-game home schedule, the Marquee Three ticket package will go on sale Wednesday, Oct. 1 through the Bradley Athletics Ticket Office at Renaissance Coliseum. The on-sale date for single-game purchases has not yet been determined.
The Marquee Three package allows buyers to purchase tickets for the Feb. 4 home game versus Wichita State, the Feb. 18 home game versus Illinois State and any non-conference game of the buyer's choice for the price of just two games: $16 in Carver Arena's White seating sections, $30 in Red sections or $44 in Bronze sections. Bradley is preparing for its 111th men's basketball season and the 2014-15 Braves feature eight newcomers, highlighted by two players who were rated as top 100 national recruits coming out of high school (Josh Cunningham and Mike Shaw) and a 2014 NJCAA Division I All-American (Tramique Sutherland).
