OPENING TIPS
•  After cruising to a pair of exhibition victories, Bradley Basketball officially will open the Brian Wardle coaching era when the program's 112th season tips off Friday with a 7 p.m. tilt versus Ball State at Carver Arena.
•  Friday's game will be televised locally on WAOE (My 59) and will be available for viewing online via WatchESPN.com and the WatchESPN app.
•  Bradley is 79-32 (.712) all-time in season-openers, 70-9 (.886) in season-openers played at home and 17-2 (.895) in season-openers at Carver Arena.
•  The Braves will open the 2015-16 season as the youngest team in the nation, suiting up 10 freshmen in an overal 12-man active roster.
•  Bradley also is expected to start five players from five different countries for the first time in program history and the Braves are believed to be the only team in the nation with such an internationally-diverse starting lineup.

SERIES HISTORY
3rd Meeting | Tied 1-1
•  Friday's season-opener will be the third all-time men's basketball matchup between Bradley and Ball State.
•  The teams split a two-year, home-and-home series in 1980-81 and 1982-83, each defending its home court.
•  Carver Arena will become the third venue to host a game in the series.

Braves Club Game Day Luncheon, Presented by Busey Bank
The first Braves Club Game Day Luncheon of the year will celebrate the start of the Brian Wardle coaching era. Doors open 11:15 a.m. at Renaissance Coliseum Basketball Performance Center.  Contact the Braves Club Office at (309) 677-2667 to make a reservation.

Red Out
Fans are encouraged to wear red Friday. Bradley students will receive red glow sticks, courtesy of the Bradley University Student Activities Office.

Joe Stowell Recognition
Bradley Athletics will recognize the career of Bradley legend Joe Stowell Friday night. Stowell will be available on the concourse near the Bradley merchandise stand for a meet-and-greet session from 6:40 p.m. until tipoff and will be honored on the court during the game.

Kaboom!'s Korner
Set up in the Peoria Civic Center's Great Hall lobby, Kaboom!'s Korner will open 90 minutes prior to each home game and will provide family friendly entertainment through halftime. Each game will include a bounce house for the youngsters and a Kaboom! photo station, as well as a rotation of entertainment stations. Friday's rotating attraction is a petting zoo by Barnyard Discoveries.
