Box Score DES MOINES, Iowa – Freshman Allison Turner (Wildwood, Mo./Lafayette) had 10 kills and senior Lea Sack (Lincoln, Neb./Pius X) notched a match-high 17 digs in the final outing of her career to lead the Braves as Bradley Volleyball wrapped up the 2015 season with a 25-15, 25-20, 25-14 loss at Drake Saturday afternoon.
Sack's 17 digs helped her finish with exactly 500 digs for the year as she turned in the fifth 500-dig season in school history. In addition, Sack wrapped up her Bradley career tied with Cindy Novak for third in program history with 1,346 career digs.
Turner had six of her team-best 10 kills in the opening set and Sack collected nine of her 17 digs in the first set. The Bulldogs came up with 27 digs in the first set and took the opening frame 25-15.
Bradley was close early in the second set, trailing 8-6 following one of Kelsey Cave's (Solon, Iowa/Solon) four kills in the stanza. Drake answered with four consecutive points, however, and later extended the lead to 17-8. The Bulldogs scored six consecutive points behind a pair of kills and a block from Kyla Inderski to build an early 9-3 edge.
