MUNCIE, Ind. - Freshmen Alexa Brandt and Aimee Manfredo both battled into third sets, but the Bradley Women's Tennis team was unable to break through for a point en route to a 7-0 loss at Ball State (4-2) Friday evening at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center.
Brandt dropped her match at No. 1 singles to Ball State's Courtney Wild (6-2, 5-7, 10-8), while Manfredo fell to Ashlyn Rang (5-7, 6-3, 9-7) at No. 3 singles. The Cardinals won the other four singles matches in straight sets after taking Nos. 1 and 3 doubles for the night's first point.
Bradley (4-3) returns home for another twinbill Feb. 21, dual matches at 9 a.m. against Western Illinois and 3 p.m. versus Green Bay at the Clubs at River City.
