PEORIA, Ill. - The public is invited to attend Bradley's final practice at Dozer Park before the Braves head to Louisville for this weekend's NCAA Baseball Regional.
The Braves (35-19) will begin practice at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Dozer Park and will depart from the stadium at approximately 1:30 p.m. for Louisville. The Dozer Park gates and concessions stands will be open and fans are invited to watch practice before sending the team off to Louisville.
Bradley is making its seventh all-time appearance in the NCAA Baseball Championship, but the first since 1968. The final team announced during the tournament selection show Monday morning on ESPNU, the Braves are the No. 2 seed in the Louisville Regional and will face third-seeded Michigan (37-23) in the 1 p.m. (CT) regional opener Friday at Louisville's Jim Patterson Stadium.
As a 4-team, double-elimination tournament, Bradley will face either No. 1 seed Louisville (43-16) or No. 4 seed Morehead State (38-20) in a second round game Saturday - 11 a.m. (CT) elimination game or 3 p.m. winner's bracket game. The regional will continue with two more elimination games at the same 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. (CT) times, with a potential winner-take-all game Monday at 5 p.m. (CT).
