Former Bradley pitcher Elliot Ashbeck earned his first professional save Saturday, while Jason Leblebijian and Mike Tauchman are swinging red-hot bats, highlighting the last Bradley Baseball Braves in the Pros update through games of June 28.

Elliot Ashbeck (2013-15) | AZL Padres | Rookie Arizona League | San Diego Padres
Ashbeck made his second and third career professional pitching appearances last week and he is yet to allow a run. After allowing a pair of unearned runs in Wednesday's 14-8 loss to the AZL Dodgers, Ashbeck earned his first professional save Saturday by throwing a perfect ninth inning against the AZL White Sox to preserve a 3-1 victory. In his three appearances to date, Ashbeck has not allowed an earned run in 4.0 innings, surrendering only one hit and one walk while striking out four.

Chris Godinez (2012-15) | Ogden Raptors | Rookie Pioneer League | Los Angeles Dodgers
After ending his college career by reaching base safely in 33 consecutive games and he has reached safely in seven of the first eight games he has had a plate appearance as a pro, including each of the last six. Godinez is batting .240 (6-25) with a home run and he has drawn six walks to contribute to his .387 on-base percentage and he has scored eight runs in his nine games.

Jason Leblebijian (2010-12) | Lansing Lugnuts | Class A Midwest League | Toronto Blue Jays
Leblebijian continues to swing a red-hot bat since his move to the Lugnuts, where he is batting .355 with five doubles and five home runs in 20 games. Leblebijian was 2-for-5 with a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 7-5 win against West Michigan, his ninth multi-hit game for the Lugnuts, an accomplishment he has achieved four times in the last six games and seven times in the last 11 outings. Since Leblebijian joined the Lugnuts June 5, Lansing boasts a 12-8 and he helped the team finish off a Midwest League first-half Eastern Division championship.

Max Murphy (2012-14) | Cedar Rapids Kernels | Class A Midwest League | Minnesota Twins
Since hitting home runs in consecutive games at Clinton to end the first half of the Midwest League season, Murphy is hitless (0-11) in his first three games of the second half, dropping his season average to .228.

Rob Scahill (2006-09) | Pittsburgh Pirates | Major League Baseball
Scahill got the decision in two of Pittsburgh's three games in its midweek series against the Cincinnati Reds, but was placed on the 15-day disabled list Friday with right forearm tightness. Scahill (2-4) allowed a run in each of his two outings last week, but earned the win in Tuesday's 7-6 win against the Reds. He took the loss Thursday when he surrendered a 13th-inning home run to Brandon Phillips. In 24 appearances before going on the DL, Scahill is 2-4 with a 2.08 earned run average.

Mike Tauchman (2010-13) | New Britain Rock Cats | Double-A Eastern League | Colorado Rockies
The 2013 NCAA Division I batting champion has been on a tear in the month of June, raising his season batting average 30 points to .280 since the month started. In 23 games this month, Tauchman has hit safely in 16 games, including nine with multiple hits. Tauchman was a combined 8-for-14 (.571) in three consecutive games June 22-24 before an 0-for-4 showing Thursday at Bowie. Each of New Britain's last three games Friday, Saturday and Sunday against Richmond were washed out. New Britain currently sits atop the Eastern League Eastern Division standings.
