OPENING TIPS
•  Coming off consecutive games against teams that won at least 30 games last season, the youngest team in college basketball now faces consecutive games against two of the nation's 14 13-win teams, beginning Wednesday night when Bradley hosts Missouri Valley Conference rival Southern Illinois at Carver Arena.
•  Wednesday's game will be the 89th meeting in the all-time series, which dates back to an Illinois Intercollegiate Athletic Conference meeting Dec. 21, 1927 at Peoria Armory.

•  Both coaches faced the opposing school while serving as head coaches at different institutions: Brian Wardle was 0-2 against Southern Illinois in his five years as Green Bay head coach, while Barry Hinson was 11-7 against Bradley as Missouri State's head coach from 1999-2008.
