Ketterer, Olson Honorable Mention All-MVC

SPRINGFIELD, MO - Bradley senior goalkeeper Logan Ketterer (Racine, WI/The Prairie School) and junior midfielder Richard Olson (Park Ridge, IL/Maine South H.S.) both received honorable mention All-Missouri Valley Conference honors, according to a league-wide vote of head coaches announced Thursday during the MVC Men's Soccer Championship tournament banquet.

Ketterer started all 20 games for the Braves between the pipes this season, recording 87 saves with a 1.61 goals against average and three shutouts. Among his season highlights, Ketterer made a career-best 13 saves among the 40 shots he faced with the Braves playing a man down for more than 84 minutes to preserve a 1-1 draw Oct. 1 at Western Michigan.

A starter for the last two-and-a-half seasons, Ketterer is a repeat selection as honorable mention All-MVC. He ends his Bradley career fifth in program history with 12.0 career shutouts and sixth with 4,674 minutes played in goal.

In his third year with the Braves, Olson led the team in scoring with three goals and seven points and he will enter this senior season as the program's all-time leader in shooting accuracy by putting 58.5 percent of his career shots on target. In addition to scoring the game-winning goal versus No. 9 Notre Dame in the preseason Danny Dahlquist Memorial Game at Shea Stadium, Olson netted the game-winning strike in the 1-0 win against Fairleigh Dickinson. He also scored a tying goal Sept. 23 at Missouri State and the go-ahead goal early in the Oct. 1 match at Western Michigan.
