After starting the campaign with three home games, the Braves hit the road for the first time this season at the 2016 Gulf Coast Showcase. Bradley opens the tournament with Hofstra on Monday at 12:30 p.m. CT.

GULF COAST SHOWCASE
• The Braves are set to meet the Pride in the first round of the fourth-annual Gulf Coast Showcase in Estero, Florida.
• The winner will advance to face the winner of the Vermont and Wofford game on Tuesday at 4 p.m. CT. The remaining teams will face off in the loser's bracket on Tuesday at 10 a.m. CT.
• Kent State, South Dakota, Houston and George Mason fill out the other side of the eight-team bracket.

ABOUT THE BRAVES
• Bradley is 2-1 through three games of the 2016-17 season after earning an 84-78 victory against Southeast Missouri State on Friday night.
• Junior transfer JoJo McGlaston led the Braves with a career-best 19 points on Friday, connecting on 7-of-10 field goals, including 3-of-4 3-point attempts.
• Overall, McGlaston leads the team with 13.0 points per game this season, making 51.9 percent of his shots and 50.0 percent of his 3-point attempts.
• Rookie Darrell Brown ranks second on the team with 11.0 points per game after his most productive outing of his young career on Friday (15 points). Brown also leads the Braves with nine assists and five steals.
• Fellow freshman Koch Bar has collected a team-best 6.3 rebounds per game this season.

SERIES HISTORY
• The Braves and Pride are meeting for the first time on the basketball court.

BRAVES VERSUS THE CAA
• Bradley is 8-5 all-time against the Colonial Athletic Association.
• It marks the second meeting between the Braves and a CAA foe this year as Delaware posted a 63-49 victory at Carver Arena on Dec. 13.

ABOUT THE PRIDE
• Hofstra enters the weekend with a 1-2 mark, earning a victory against Coppin State in the opener before losing to Sacred Heart and Manhattan.
• Eli Pemberton leads the Pride with 19.3 points per game this season, making 60.7 percent of his shots.
• Brian Bernardi (14.3) and Justin Wright-Foreman (10.7) are also averaging double figure points per game.
• Rokas Gustys leads the Pride with 14.7 rebounds per game.
• Hofstra posted a 24-10 record a season ago but are replacing three starters, including their top two scorers.

ON THIS DATE
Record on Nov. 21: 3-2
Nov. 21 Highlight: Hersey Hawkins scored 37 points but Glen Rice and Garde Thompson each tallied six points during a 14-0 second-half run as Michigan edged Bradley, 115-107, at the NIT Classic in 1986.

BU IN REGULAR-SEASON TOURNEYS
• Bradley enters the weekend with a 67-69 all-time record in regular-season tournaments, which includes a 70-55 victory against Illinois Springfield in the Gulf Coast Showcase preliminary round on Nov. 11.
• This weekend marks the 52nd in-season tournament the Braves are competing in, having finished first or tied for first five previous times.
• Bradley, however, has not enjoyed the same success as of late. The Braves have lost their last 13 regular-season tournament games away from Peoria, dating back to a 64-63 semifinal victory against Southern Cal at the 2010 Hall of Fame Tipoff.

McGLASTON BECOMES EARLY LEADER
• Junior transfer JoJo McGlaston made his first start in a Bradley uniform a good one on Friday, setting a career high with 19 points.
• McGlaston made 7-of-10 field goals, including 3-of-4 3-pointers to top his previous best total of 14 points, set during his time at Utah State.
• The junior leads the team with 13.0 points per game with a 51.9 percent field goal percentage and making 6-of-12 3-pointers.
• McGlaston has also recorded at least 10 points in all three games this season, the first Brave to post double figures in the first three contests since the 2013-14 season.

WHEN THE FIRST POINTS MATTER
• The first points have proved to be the most crucial during Bradley games this season.
• During the first three Braves contests of the year, the team that scores first has won all three games.
• In fact, there has only been two lead changes the entire season (and zero ties) with the eventual winning team trailing for only 42 seconds of a possible 120 minutes (UIS led Bradley, 8-7).
• In 2-of-3 contests, the winning squad led the entire way after scoring the game's first points.
