Game Recap: Men's Basketball |
Oxford, MS – The Bradley men's basketball team lost at Ole Miss on Monday night, 66-49. The Braves drop to 5-7 on the season, while the Rebels improved to 8-3 with the win.

Freshman Darrell Brown led the Braves with 14 points on the night, which included a 3-of-4 night from 3-point range. Junior JoJo McGlaston chipped in nine points, while junior Donte Thomas led BU with seven rebounds and three assists.

The teams traded the lead five times in the opening minutes of the game but a strong finish to the first stanza by the Rebels gave Ole Miss a nearly 20-point halftime lead. With Bradley trailing by four, 18-14, the Rebels outscored the Braves, 20-5, over the final 8:23 of the half to head into the intermission with a 38-19 advantage.

Bradley put together a better second half – outscoring Ole Miss, 30-28 – but the halftime deficit proved to be too much as the Rebels secured the 17-point victory, 66-49.

Terence Davis led the Rebels with 19 points, while Sebastian Saiz added 10 points and a game-high 13 rebounds. Mississippi shot 41.8 percent, while the Braves made 31.0 percent of their shots, including a 7-of-17 mark from beyond the 3-point line (41.2 percent).

The Braves are back in action on Wednesday, wrapping up non-conference action against TCU. The schools are set to meet in Fort Worth with an 8 p.m. tip off.

Game Notes: The Braves held their third-straight opponent to more than 15 points under its season average with Ole Miss entering the game averaging 81.5 points per game … The 66 points are also the second-fewest scored by the Rebels this year … Bradley still owns a 3-2 series advantage against the Rebels … Bradley had a season-high 10 shots blocked on the night (previous high was five).
