PEORIA, Ill. -- Sophomore guard Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye (London, England/Bristol Academy) has been named the Bradley COUNTRY Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week after helping the Bradley men's basketball team to an 87-83 victory at Eastern Illinois last week.

Lautier-Ogunleye averaged 12.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game in two outings last week, while making 10-of-11 free throw attempts.  He collected 10 points, eight boards, five assists and two steals against Eastern Illinois to help the Braves to their first overtime victory since the 2009-10 season.  Lautier-Ogunleye followed that effort with a team-high 15 points and seven rebounds in Saturday's home game against Nevada.  A business major, Lautier-Ogunleye owns a 3.00 cumulative grade point average.

Each week, a Bradley student-athlete is selected as the COUNTRY Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week.  The individual chosen must be at least a sophomore in class standing and boast a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average, while displaying a level of athletic excellence.

Lautier-Ogunleye and the Bradley men's basketball team are back in action Saturday, hosting Chicago State in an 8 p.m. contest at Carver Arena.
