OPENING TIPS
• The youngest team in college basketball will wrap up the 2015-16 regular season with an opportunity to earn its first season sweep of the season when Bradley visits Indiana State Saturday afternoon at the Hulman Center.
• The young Braves earned their first Missouri Valley Conference home win of the season Feb. 6 by pulling out a 63-58 win against Indiana State at Carver Arena.
• That loss has started a 6-game slide by Indiana State, which has dropped the Sycamores from a 4-way tie for second place in The Valley standings heading into that game into a tie for seventh heading into the regular-season finale.
• Saturday's game could be a preview of a first-round game in next week's MVC Men's Basketball Championship in St. Louis: the Braves are locked into the No. 9 seed and a win would make Indiana State the No. 8 seed if Loyola Chicago wins at Drake (several other scenarios could make Indiana State the No. 8 seed, but the combination of a Bradley win and Loyola win is the most obvious).
• Saturday's game will be the 84TH meeting in the all-time series, which Bradley leads by a 51-32 count.
SERIES HISTORY
• Saturday's game will be the 84th meeting in the all-time series against Indiana State and the Braves own a 51-32 advantage.
• Indiana State has had the upper hand under sixth-year head coach Greg Lansing, however, winning eight of the last 11 meetings.
• Indiana State owns a 22-17 home record in the series and the Sycamores are working on a 6-game home winning streak against the Braves.
• First-year Bradley head coach Brian Wardle is 1-0 all-time against Indiana State, 1-0 at Bradley and 0-1 at Green Bay, while sixth-year Indiana State head coach Greg Lansing is 8-3 against the Braves.

THE TOURNAMENT TIE-BREAKER
• The Braves are locked into the No. 9 seed for next week's Missouri Valley Conference Men's Basketball Championship, but Bradley's first-round opponent is still to be determined.
• Bradley's first-round opponent, the No. 8 seed, could be any one of three teams: Indiana State, Loyola Chicago (at Drake) or Missouri State (at Southern Illinois).
• The first tie-breaker for MVC Tournament seeding is head-to-head results and the three teams all split their regular-season series against one another.
• The next tie-breaker is overall RPI Sunday morning, according to Jim Sukup's RPI Report.
• Through games of Feb. 24, Indiana State owns the top RPI among the trio at 179, followed by Loyola Chicago (215) and Missouri State (234).
