PRAIRIE VIEW, TX - Bradley's players continued to move toward the top of numerous single-season and career records lists as the Braves (8-8) snapped a 4-match skid with a 4-1 dual match victory at Prairie View A&M Wednesday.

Junior Ariel Dechter added two more wins to her combined career totals by teaming with Aimee Manfredo for a 7-5 victory at No. 2 doubles, before adding a 7-6, 6-1 victory at No. 1 singles. Dechter takes over sole possession of second place on Bradley's all-time list for combined career singles (64) and doubles (48) victories and her 112 total wins are just three shy of Teri Chan's school-record 115 wins from 2003-07. By improving to 10-6 at No. 1 singles so far this spring, Dechter also became the third player in program history to win at least 10 matches at No. 1 singles.

Because the teams agreed to halt play once the team results were determined, Dechter actually was the only Bradley player to complete both her singles and doubles matches Wednesday. Sophomore Alejanda de Lasa and freshman Malini Wijesinghe earned a 6-3 win at No. 3 doubles to secure the match's first point, but both players had their singles matches halted once the Braves secured the overall team victory.

Junior Ashley Thai earned a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 4 singles to notch her 50th career singles victory, the sixth-best total in program history, and secure the team victory. Sophomore Alexa Brandt chipped in a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 3 singles.

The Braves will conclude their spring break trip with a Friday match at Sam Houston State, then will have two weeks off to prepare for their Missouri Valley Conference opener April 2 at Illinois State.
