INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Bradley Baseball will look to get back on the winning track during a four-game weekend in Indianapolis with two games each against Western Michigan and Butler.
The Braves (9-7) have won five of their last six games as they prepare for tonight's 7:30 p.m. ET game against Western Michigan at Grand Park. The weekend schedule will continue with two games Saturday at Butler Park - noon ET at Butler and 3:30 p.m. ET versus Western Michigan - then conclude with a noon game Sunday at Butler. Western Michigan (5-12) owns a 4-2-1 lead in the all-time series against Bradley, most recently earning a 7-0 win March 10, 2012 in Florida. Prior to that game, the teams had not met since 1976 in Memphis. The Braves own a 10-4 lead in the all-time series against Butler (6-13). Bradley has won three straight against the Bulldogs, as well as seven of the eight meetings since the start of the 2000 season.
Following this weekend's games in Indianapolis, Bradley will visit Saint Louis Wednesday night before playing its home opener next Friday (6 p.m.) against MacMurray.
