TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Senior Danielle Lemek (Doniphan, Neb./Doniphan-Trumbull) was the only Bradley women's golfer to shoot in the 70's during Sunday's opening round of the Indiana State Spring Invitational, helping the Braves finish the day tied with Northern for 10th in the team standings.

Lemek tied her own Bradley season record with her 28th-sub 80 round of the year by carding a seven-over 79 at the par-72 Country Club of Terre Haute Sunday.  She is tied for 22nd overall after the opening round, but sits just three shots out of the top 10.  Lemek's 28 sub-80 rounds in 2015-16 matched her own school record of 28 originally set as a freshman in 2012-13.

Sophomore Grace Henderson (Peachtree Corners, Ga./Blessed Trinity) is one shot behind Lemek in a tie for 31st after shooting a first-round 80 and fellow sophomore Ally Scaccia (Arlington Heights, Ill./Prospect) carded an 81 Sunday to finish the day in a tie for 37th.

Senior Jenna Roadley (Winnipeg, Manitoba/Sturgeon Heights) shot an 82 and will enter Monday's final round tied for 42nd, while freshman Chloe Horton (Coral Gables, Fla./Ransom Everglades) rounded out the team scoring for Bradley with an 84 and is tied for 61st in the field.  Senior Allison Walsh (Mt. Prospect, Ill./Mt. Prospect) is in the field as an individual and is tied for 51st after shooting an 83 in the 100th round of her Bradley career as she became the 11th player in program history to reach 100 rounds.

Tournament-host Indiana State turned in the top team score Sunday at 306 and the Sycamores have a four-shot lead on the field.  William Woods is second at 310, while Western Illinois and Oakland carded rounds of 313 to tie for third.  Loyola sits in fifth at 314 with Butler one shot back at 315.  Eastern Illinois and Chicago State are four shots ahead of ninth-place SIU Edwardsville (321) at 318.

Bradley and Northern Iowa both shot 322 to tie for 10th after one round and hold an eight-shot edge on 12th-place Drake (330).  Missouri Valley Conference rivals Evansville is 13th (331), with Dayton rounding out the field in 14th at 335.

The final round of the Indiana State Spring Invitational is scheduled to tee off at 8:30 a.m. (CDT).
