LAWRENCE, Kan. – Senior
Caitlin Busch (Waterloo, Ill./Freeburg) was seven seconds short of earning a spot in the 5,000 meter national championship, finishing 15th at the NCAA West Preliminary Saturday to highlight action for the Bradley women's track & field team.

Kristen Busch were both scheduled to compete in the 5,000 meters, but Kristen did not run after earning a spot in the NCAA 10,000 meter national championship Saturday morning. In what proved to be the final race of her Bradley career, Caitlin clocked a time of 16:32.90 which was five seconds off her career-best time and seven seconds from earning a spot in the national championship in June. She was ninth in her heat and 15th overall in the event.

Emily Delvo (Springfield, Ill./Sacred Heart Griffin) finished seventh in her 1,500 meter heat and was 36th in the field in her final outing as a Brave.
Kristen Busch will represent the Bradley women's track & field team in the 10,000 meter NCAA Championship on Thursday, June 9 at 9 p.m. 9 (CDT).
