LEMONT, Ill. -- Junior Ethan Brue (Chandlerville, Ill./AC Central/Illinois Central) claimed medalist honors for the second time in as many outings as a Brave to help the Bradley men's golf team to a second-place finish at the John Dallio Memorial Tuesday.

Brue opened his Bradley career by winning the Cruaser Collegiate in Chesterton, Ind., earlier this month and walked away with another individual title Tuesday at the par-72 Ruffled Feathers Golf Club.  He entered the day two shots out of the lead, but a two-under 70 was the low round of the day and gave him a two-shot edge on DePaul's Freddy Thomas atop the individual leaderboard.  Brue finished at even par 216 and has fired four of his six rounds as a Brave this season under par.

Bradley opened the final round in second, two shots back of tournament-host DePaul, and finished three shots behind the Blue Demons in second with a three-round total of 896 after a 305 Tuesday.  DePaul claimed the team title with a score of 893, while the Braves were nine shots better than third-place North Dakota State (905).  MVC rivals Northern Iowa (4th - 915), Drake (6th - 919) and Loyola (11th - 944) helped make up the 13-team field.

Sophomore Drake Bushong (Pekin, Ill./Pekin) matched his second round 75 again on Tuesday and tied for ninth (226) for the ninth top-10 finish of his career.  Junior Zach Jewell (Mapleton, Ill./Limestone/Illinois Central) was three shots out of the top 10 in a tie for 17th at 229 and one of five Braves to place in the top 20.  Jewell shot a final round 81.

Senior Bobby Jacobs (Valparaiso, Ind./Valparaiso) and sophomore Branden Mounce (El Paso, Ill./El Paso-Gridley/Illinois State) both tied for 20th at 230.  Jacobs matched Jewell's final round 81, while Mounce carded a 79 to complete the team scoring for Bradley.

Junior Matthew Specht (Munster, Ind./Munster) was in the field as an individual and tied for 31st (233), finishing out play with a third-round 80.

Bradley hits the midway point of its 2016 Fall season next Monday and Tuesday at the Derek Dolenc Invitational in Madison, Ill.
