Jahn & Range Win U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Qualifier

LAKE COUNTY, Ill. -- Sophomore men's golfer Charles Jahn (Sperry, Iowa/Mediapolis) and junior Sam Range (Waterloo, Ill./Gibault Catholic) shared top honors of the USGA U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Qualifier held Thursday at the par-71 Twin Orchard Country Club in Lake County, Ill.
 
Jahn and Range matched the pairing of Jason Buffone and Andy Roderique at five-under par 66 to share the top spot in the 41-team field.  The victory earned the Bradley duo an automatic spot in the 2018 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship which will be held May 19-23, 2018 at the Jupiter Hills Club in Tequesta, Fla.  A total of 128 duos will reach the U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship out of nearly 2,300 national entries. 
 
In addition to the performance by Jahn and Range, Bradley juniors Branden Mounce (El Paso, Ill./El Paso-Gridley) and Michael Mounce (El Paso, Ill./El Paso-Gridley) teamed to finish third in the field at Twin Orchard Country Club at four-under 67 and will be alternates for next spring's U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship.
