For the second-straight year, the Bradley cross country program will be represented on the national stage as for the first time in school history, two Braves are set to run at the meet. Senior Taylor Floyd Mews and sophomore Jake Hoffert are set to make their debut at Saturday's national championship.

MEET INFO
The men's 10K run is set to begin at 9 a.m. CT in Louisville. Both a live webcast and live stats are available for the championship race.

CHAMPIONSHIP HISTORY
Floyd Mews and Hoffert are set to become the second and third Braves to run the championship course, following Michael Ward last season. Ward placed 71st of 251 runners at the championship, running the 10K course in a time of 30:41.9.

FLOYD MEWS SEASON RECAP
Floyd Mews earned the automatic individual bid to the NCAA Championship by posting the best finish ever by a Brave at the NCAA Midwest Regional. One week ago at Iowa State, Floyd Mews placed sixth with a time of 29:17.19 – topping the previous school record of ninth set by Ward last year.

The senior, who was also the team's top individual finisher at the Bradley Pink Classic, finished his cross country career in style as he played a key role in the Braves winning their third-straight MVC Championship. Despite running the race with an illness, Floyd Mews battled through for a 12th-place finish as Bradley won a tiebreaker with Indiana State for the conference crown.

HOFFERT SEASON RECAP
Hoffert's season peaked during the Missouri Valley Conference Championship as the sophomore became the first BU man in 52 years to claim individual gold. Hoffert ran the 8K course in 24:37.87 to join Rod Collins in 1965 as the only two Braves to win the MVC Championship.

The MVC Male Cross Country Athlete of the Year, Hoffert then earned one of four national at-large bids for the NCAA Championship after placing ninth at the NCAA Midwest Regional, running the course in 29:19.17. Hoffert was the team's top finisher in 3-of-5 meets this year, which includes an individual title at the Bradley Intercollegiate in September.
