PEORIA, Ill. – Senior guard Anneke Schlueter (Ulm, Germany/Max-Weber-Schule) has been named the Bradley COUNTRY Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week after leading Bradley Women's Basketball to a 67-52 victory at Eastern Illinois.

Schlueter scored a season-high 18 points in last Tuesday's win at Eastern Illinois as she scored in double figures for the first time this season.  She scored 13 of her 18 points in the first half to help the Braves to a commanding 37-19 halftime lead in the eventual victory.  Schlueter, who was a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line, added a career-best eight rebounds and three assists as she moved up five spots on Bradley's career scoring list into the top 25. An international studies major, Schlueter owns a 3.55 cumulative grade point average.

Each week, a Bradley student-athlete is selected as the COUNTRY Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week.  The individual chosen must be at least a sophomore in class standing and boast a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average, while displaying a level of athletic excellence.

Schlueter and the Braves will face nationally ranked Wisconsin-Green Bay Saturday at 1 p.m. in Green Bay, Wis.
