The Bradley track and field teams opened the weekend by competing at the Iowa State Classic and GVSU Big Meet on Friday night. Overall, 12 student-athletes set personal records for the Braves in the two meets.

At the Iowa State Classic, four Braves posted times that are among the top six in the Missouri Valley Conference in their respective event this season. Junior Daniel Gagne posted a career-best time of 8:13.88 in the 3,000m run, besting his previous career-best mark by more than 10 seconds. Freshman Jake Hoffert also posted a personal-record of 8:15.33 in the event. The duo now own the fifth and sixth-best times in the MVC this season, while their marks also rank fifth and sixth in BU history.

In the 5,000m run, senior Patrick Campbell posted a mark of 14:24.76 – ranking third among MVC runners this season. Junior Haran Dunderdale rounded out the team's performance at Iowa State by running the mile in 4:06.66 to place 11th in the meet's mile invite. His time ranks as the third-best in the conference this season, trailing only his mark of 4:05.14 earlier in the season as well as Gagne's time of 4:05.83.

Junior Hannah Witczak led the Braves at the GVSU Big Meet by posting a time of 9:55.58 in the 3,000m run. The junior shaved more than 17 seconds off her previous career best, while her performance places as the fifth-ranked career-best time in BU history. Three additional Braves also set career bests in the event at GVSU with sophomore Sara Piller posting the ninth-ranked career-best time in school history at 10:02.39 (taking more than 18 second off her previous best), while Mackenzie Griffin (10:06.12) and Kirstin Oakley (10:08.85) also set personal bests by nine and 24 seconds, respectively.
