It's that time again! With the calendar shifted to June, there is one final opportunity this academic year for fans to vote for the Bradley Athlete of the Month.

Junior Daniel Gagne of the men's track team, junior Ian Kristan of the baseball team and freshman Kirstin Oakley of the women's track team are the three nominees for Bradley Athlete of the Month in May.

Each month, fans have the opportunity to vote for which Brave had the best month in their respective sport. Voting is open until Monday at noon and will be conducted through the @BradleyBraves twitter account.

Daniel Gagne • Jr. • Men's Track • Wauwatosa, Wis.
• Became the first Brave to qualify for the NCAA Track and Field Championships since the program was reinstated prior to 2012 and the first overall since the mid-1970s.
• One of 24 student-athletes nationally in the 1,500m run to reach the national championship after placing fourth in his heat at the NCAA West Preliminary.
• Also collected his first career individual All-Missouri Valley Conference honors after finishing as the runner-up at the 1,500m at the conference championship.

Ian Kristan • Jr. • Baseball • Mundelein, Ill.
• Hit .393 during the month (.469 on-base percentage) with one home run, four doubles, five RBI and four runs scored.
• Recorded at least one hit in 7-of-8 appearances during the month, including a three-game streak with multiple hits.
• Went 3-for-3 in his final regular-season game of the season against Southern Illinois, hitting a home run, double and single to go with a walk.

Kirstin Oakley • Fr. • Women's Track • Prestwick, Scotland
• Posted the highest finish by a BU woman at the 2017 Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship, finishing fourth in the 3,000m steeplechase.
• Recorded the highest finish by a Bradley freshman since 2012 when Sarah McMahon placed third in the 5,000m run.
• Her time of 10:48.05 also represents the second-fastest mark in Bradley track history.
