Bradley Soccer Hosts Fort Wayne for Homecoming

Bradley Soccer sill hosts its 13th Homecoming soccer game Saturday night at Shea Stadium

PEORIA, IL - Bradley will shoot for its fourth consecutive home victory when the Braves host non-conference foe Fort Wayne in the school's annual Homecoming Game, presented by Avant's, Saturday night at Shea Stadium.  After Bradley attempts to improve on its 9-3-0 all-time record in its homecoming games, Saturday's contest will be followed by a postgame fireworks show.

•    Fans are reminded Saturday's game immediately will be followed by the annual Homecoming fireworks show.

AGAINST THE MASTADONS
Fifth Meeting | Bradley leads 3-1-0 | Bradley leads 2-0-0 at home
•    Bradley will take on Fort Wayne for the fifth time in program history when the teams meet in Saturday night's Homecoming clash.
•    Although the Braves own a 3-1-0 lead in the all-time series, which dates to 2005, Fort Wayne took the most-recent meeting with a 4-3, overtime decision Sept. 9, 2016 at Evansville's ProRehab Aces Soccer Classic.
•    The Mastadons are marking their third appearance at Shea Stadium, where Bradley won 3-0 Sept. 16, 2005 and 2-1 in overtime Oct. 1, 2010.
•    In each of the previous three seasons - 2005, 2010 and 2011 - Bradley has beaten Fort Wayne, the Braves have gone on to play in that year's NCAA Tournament.

HOME SHUTOUT STREAK
•    Since surrendering an overtime goal to Gonzaga in the season-opener Aug. 27, Bradley has won its last three home games in shutout fashion.
•    The Braves will enter Saturday's game riding a streak of 270 consecutive shutout minutes at Shea Stadium.
•    Bradley has not won four consecutive home games by shutout since taking four straight 1-0 decisions at Shea Stadium to start the 2015 season

NEXT UP
•    After playing its seventh game in a span of 15 days, Bradley will play its next three games over a 14-day period.
•    Following Saturday's game versus Fort Wayne, the Braves will return to action Wednesday at DePaul.
•    Bradley will visit Evansville Sept. 27, before returning home Sept. 30 to host Drake on Bradley Soccer Alumni Day.
