Peoria, Ill. – Making 3-point shots will carry more weight for the Bradley men's basketball team during the month of February as the Braves have teamed with the American Cancer Society and National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) for the Coaches vs. Cancer 3-Point Challenge.

The Coaches vs. Cancer 3-Point Challenge is a nationwide program featuring participating college and high school basketball teams. Basketball fans everywhere are encouraged to pledge a donation for each 3-point shot their favorite team makes with all proceeds supporting the American Cancer Society. Bradley fans can join the fight to end cancer by pledging money at https://pledgeit.org/cvc18-bradley.

During the month of February, the challenge pits teams against rival schools to raise the most funds as fans follow the leaderboard on http://www.3pointchallenge.org/ to see who will become the 3-Point Challenge Champion.

Bradley plays seven games during the month of February, starting on Feb. 3 with a home contest against Drake. The Braves currently rank 64th nationally (of 351 schools) with a 3-point percentage of 38.1 percent, making 6.8 triples per game.

Fresh off a win against Southern Illinois last night, the Braves return to action on Saturday with a road contest at Loyola. Tipoff in Chicago is scheduled for 3 p.m.
