PEORIA, Ill. -- Senior runner Taylor Floyd Mews (Milwaukee, Wis./Wauwatosa West) has been named the Bradley COUNTRY Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week after winning the mile at last week's Gladstein Invitational.

Named the Missouri Valley Conference Athlete of the Week Tuesday for his efforts at Indiana's Gladstein Invitational, Floyd Mews won the mile Friday night with a personal best time of 4:04.89.  His mark is the second-fastest time in school history behind Michael Ward's 2016 school record and is the top time in the mile in the Missouri Valley Conference this season.  A computer information systems major, Floyd Mews owns a 3.22 cumulative grade point average.
