PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley Women's Golf will have a chance to see where it stacks up against the rest of the Missouri Valley Conference, as the Braves close out their fall schedule with the MVC Preview at Sand Creek Country Club in Chesterton, Ind., Monday & Tuesday.

Nine of the 10 Valley teams will play in the two-day event with only Evansville not slated to compete in the tournament which will be played at the site of the 2019 MVC Women's Golf Championship in April.  Monday's opening two rounds will get underway with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start and Tuesday's final round will feature tee times beginning at 8:30 a.m.  BradleyBraves.com will provide links to live scoring (Birdiefire.com) for all three rounds.

The Braves finished fourth at last year's Valley Championship last April in Newton, Kan., and boast an experienced roster with four of the five individuals from last year's MVC Championship lineup on the 2018-19 squad.

Junior Megan Medinger didn't play at last year's Valley Championship, but has been Bradley's top finisher in each of the last two events and been among the top three on the squad in all three outings this season.  Medinger owns a team-best 74.89 stroke average on the year, firing a 74 or better in six of her last eight rounds.

The runner up at last year's MVC Championship, senior Frankie Saban is the most experienced player on the Bradley roster; ranking 16th in school history with 88 career rounds play to go with the sixth-best career stroke average (78.02) by a Brave.  The 2017-18 All-MVC performer has averaged 76.00 per round in 2018-19 and has a 75.14 stroke average over her last five tournaments dating back to last spring.

Junior Taylor Ledwein wrapped up last year's MVC Championship with a two-under 70 to finish just outside of the top 20.  The MVC Preview has been a strong indicator for Ledwein's MVC Championship finish as she has gone on to finish just one spot off from her Preview showing in the fall at the Conference Championship that next spring.  Ledwein is just the fourth player in program history to earn All-MVC honors both their freshman and sophomore seasons.

Senior Brooke Thompson heads into the final tournament of the fall with a 77.11 stroke average, which is nearly half a stroke better than her average from the 2017-18 campaign.  Thompson has been Bradley's #3 finisher in each of the last two tournaments and is coming off her lowest 54-hole performance (229) at the Johnie Imes Invitational) since the 2017 Johnie Imes Invitational last October.

The MVC Preview wraps up the lightest fall schedule for the Braves since the 2013-14 season.
