Fall Season Concludes at ITA Central Region Championships

All seven members of the Bradley Women's Tennis program will compete in the regional competition at the University of Iowa

IOWA CITY, IA – All seven members of the Bradley Women's Tennis program will take to the courts when the Braves close out the fall tournament season by participating in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Central Regional Championship, which begins Friday at the University of Iowa's Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Complex.

The 2018 ITA Central Region Championships is expected to feature more than 160 student-athletes representing 26 schools from nine states: Arkansas, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma and South Dakota. Play begins at 9 a.m. Friday morning on both the indoor and outdoor courts at HTRC and will continue through Tuesday.

The Braves have competed in three individualized tournaments to date, winning seven of 13 flights in the first two invitational events before amassing 16 total wins at last weekend's Missouri Valley Conference Individual Championships. For the season, the seven Braves boast a combined 50-28 singles (39-16) and doubles (11-12) record.
