Bradley Basketball Teams Host Red-White Scrimmage Saturday

Bradley basketball fans have their first chance to see the 2018-19 men's and women's basketballs teams take the court this season when the Braves host their annual Red-White Scrimmage Saturday at Renaissance Coliseum.

Red-White Scrimmage Schedule of Events
2 p.m.	Introduction of women's basketball team
2:05 p.m.	Women's Basketball Scrimmage - two 10-minute periods
2:35 p.m.	Men's Basketball Warm-Up
2:45 p.m.	Men's Basketball Layup & Dunk Lines
2:50 p.m.	Introduction of men's basketball team
2:55 p.m.	Men's Basketball Scrimmage - Half-Court Scrimmage
3:05 p.m.	Men's Basketball Scrimmage - one 12-minute period
3:30 p.m.	Autographs and schedule poster giveaway (men and women)

Admission for the event is free and starts at 2 p.m., beginning with the introduction of the women's program in addition to a scrimmage of two 10-minutes periods.

The men's team will follow at 2:45 p.m. After a quick warm-up the team will start with layup and dunk lines before the players are introduced at 2:50 p.m. The Braves will then compete in a half-court scrimmage at 2:55 before an additional 12-minute full-court scrimmage at 3:05 p.m.

Both squads will then participate in an autograph session with the 2018-19 Bradley Basketball schedule posters available for fans for the first time this year.

The 2018-19 season opens on Thursday, Nov. 1 when the Braves host Carroll University at Carver Arena. The BU women host Quincy in its only exhibition contest of the preseason on Saturday, Nov. 3 with first tip at Renaissance Coliseum set for 2:30 p.m. Season and single-game tickets for both programs remain on sale by contacting the Bradley Athletics Ticket Office at (309) 677-2625 or BradleyTicketOffice@bradley.edu.
