KETTERING, Ohio – Junior Charles Jahn fired a career-best four-under 67 in the second round and helped the Braves to a two-under 282 in the afternoon Monday at the Flyer Invitational.  Play was suspended late in the second round with most of the field unable to wrap up the day's full 36 holes.

Playing in chilly and sometimes rainy conditions, Bradley had a tough first round and found themselves in 12th place after a first-round 305 at the par-71 NCR South Course.  The Braves were one of the few squads to finish up the second round, however, and posted the third lowest round of the fall with a two-under 282 to finish the day at 587.  The Braves were one of just three teams to finish both of Monday's rounds and the second-round 282 is tied for the ninth lowest round in program history.

Jahn is the leader in the clubhouse for Bradley at two-over par 144, chasing a first round 77 with his career-best four-under 67.  He birdied three of his first five holes in the second roundand carded a total of five birdies in the afternoon.

Senior Michael Mounce also had a strong afternoon with a one-under 70.  Mounce had four birdies of his own in the second round and is two shots back of Jahn at 146 after turning in a first-round 70.

Fellow senior Drake Bushong broke the school record for career sub-80 rounds with a first-round 76 to surpass Seth Trolia's previous school mark of 104.  Bushong was five strokes better in the afternoon with a 71 and will enter Tuesday's final round one shot back of Mounce at five-over 147.

Seniors Daniel Lensing and Branden Mounce closed the day tied at 151.  Lensing followed up a first-round 77 with a second-round 74, while Branden Mounce fired scores of 76 and 75 Monday.

Davidson led the 12-field after the opening round, posting a one-over 285 to own a three-shot advantage on second-place Dayton (289).

The teams will resume play Tuesday at 8 a.m. (CDT) with the remainder of the second round before playing the third and final round.
