CINCINNATI, OH – For the fourth time in five games, Bradley Soccer was forced to play extra time and for the second time, the Braves (5-2-3) came away with a scoreless draw, battling host Cincinnati (3-7-1) to a 0-0 stalemate Tuesday night at Gettler Stadium.

In an unusual stat line, Cincinnati finished the game with a 20-6 advantage in shots, but the Bearcats managed to put only one of those attempts on target.  Junior goalkeeper Albert Reinwart made the night's only save, stopping a point-blank shot by Marcello Jones in the 89th minute just moments after thwarting a dangerous cross at the near post, to preserve his third shutout of the year.

With Bradley failing to place any of its six shots on frame, Bearcats keeper Noah Lawrence was credited with a shutout of his own without having to make a save.  The best scoring chance for the visitors came in the 87th minute when Gerit Wintermeyer set up Richard Olson for a shot six yards out from the right post, but a Cincinnati defender got just enough of Olson's attempt to deflect the ball over the crossbar for one of Bradley's five corner kicks.

Having come away with a result in three of its four road games this season by posting a 2-1-1 record away from Shea Stadium, Bradley will hit the road again Saturday for a key Missouri Valley Conference matchup against league preseason favorite Missouri State.  Saturday's Valley clash is slated for a 7 p.m. showdown at Allison South Stadium.  Following Saturday's road trip, the Braves will play four of their final six regular-season games at home, beginning Oct. 13 against Valparaiso at Shea Stadium.
