The two winningest coaches in MVC Men's Soccer history will square off when Bradley visits Missouri State Saturday night

SPRINGFIELD, MO - After enjoying a 7-game unbeaten streak to start the season, Bradley (5-2-3, 0-2-0 MVC) will try to knock its opponent off the unbeaten perch when the Braves visit Missouri Valley Conference preseason favorite Missouri State (6-0-3, 1-0-1 MVC) Saturday night at Allison South Stadium.

Series History:  Saturday's game will be the 36th meeting in a series that Missouri State has controlled by a 22-9-4 margin ... Since the start of the 2011 season, however, the teams have split eight meetings:  4-4-0 ... Missouri State has won two straight versus the Braves, including a 1-0 victory in double overtime during the same weekend a year ago (Oct. 7) at Shea Stadium ... The Braves have dropped two straight in Springfield since their 1-0 victory, again the same weekend, Oct. 6, 2012.

The series against Missouri State dates back to Bradley's second season (1988) as a NCAA Division I program and is the second most-played series in program history ... The 35 games played to date against Missouri State are second only to the 43 played against Drake.

Missouri State's Jon Leamy leads the pack with a 259-182-62 (.586) record in his 27th season at the helm of the Bears program ... Bradley's Jim DeRose follows Leamy on the Valley's all-time wins list with a 239-181-49 (.562) mark in his 23rd season with the Braves ... Boasting a 20-15-7 record in the postseason MVC Men's Soccer Championship, DeRose ows the most MVC Tournament wins in league history, while Leamy's 15 postseason conference tournament wins are third behind DeRose and former Creighton coach Bob Warming (19).
