Box Score CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – Bradley Volleyball took the opening set at league-leading Northern Iowa 25-22, but the Panthers rallied to take the next three frames 25-11, 25-17, 25-13 Saturday at the McLeod Center as the Braves fell to 14-4 overall and 4-2 in Missouri Valley Conference play,

Freshman Hannah Thompson had a team-high 14 kills and added 17 digs for her team-best ninth double-double of the season to lead Bradley.  Senior Erica Haslag, who moved into fourth in school history with her 1,400 career kill, added 10 kills in the setback for the Braves.  Fellow senior Yavianliz Rosado notched a match-high 22 digs to lead Bradley's defensive efforts and was one of four Braves to reach double figures in digs.

Bradley battled back from a 16-5 deficit in the opening set to pull out a 25-22 victory.  The Braves rattled off five consecutive points with junior Hannah Angeli notching a pair of kills to help spark the run.  Haslag added a pair of kills down the stretch and Bradley eventually took a 23-22 lead on back-to-back aces from Emma Raleigh.  Bradley forced consecutive UNI (12-6 overall, 6-0 MVC) attack errors as the Braves took the opener 25-22.  Rosado collected 10 of her match-high 22 digs in the first set.

UNI hit .324 in the second set and used a 10-1 run to close out a 25-11 victory.  Bradley trailed 15-10 after a Thompson kill, only to have UNI's Kalie Taylor, who had a match-high 23 kills, find the floor with three kills down the stretch to help the Panther pull even in the match.

Bradley was within three points at 18-15 in the third set, when Northern Iowa rattled off five consecutive points.  Jaydlin Seehase had a pair of kills and a block to start the 5-0 UNI run which eventually led to a 25-17 win for the Panthers.

The Braves found themselves in an early hole in the fourth set after UNI jumped out to an early 6-1 advantage.  Taylor had seven kills on 10 attacks with no errors to help lead the Panthers to a 25-13 victory as the UNI remained atop the conference standings with the four-set victory.

Bradley returns to Renaissance Coliseum for four of the next five matches, putting a perfect 8-0 home record on the line Friday with a 7 p.m. match against Loyola.
