Brown and Kennell also added triples during the spurt and a layup by Childs as time expired put Bradley in front at the intermission, 31-23.

The Redhawks never pulled closer than five in the second stanza as the Braves secured their second-straight win to open the season. Bradley pushed its advantage to as many as 19 points in the game after an 18-8 stretch gave BU a 64-45 lead. Van Bree capped the run with two more triples to ice the 11-point victory for Bradley.
