After leading the Bradley men's basketball team to a pair of victories to open the 2018-19 season, senior guard Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye collected Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week accolades, announced on Monday.

In two wins by double-digit points, Lautier-Ogunleye averaged 17.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.5 steals, while shooting 69.2 percent from the field and 50.0 percent from 3-point range. In the season-opening win, the senior guard scored 12 points to go with eight boards, four assists and a personal-best four steals. He then scored a career-high 22 points in a victory against Southeast Missouri State on Saturday, reaching the 20-point mark for the first time since his rookie season.

Lautier-Ogunleye is off to a strong start to his senior season – more than doubling his career scoring average of 8.1. One of the team's anchors on defense, Lautier-Ogunleye was named to the MVC All-Defensive Team following his junior campaign, while also earning All-Freshman Team accolades in 2015-16.

The London, native has totaled 783 points, 384 points and 236 assists during his three-plus seasons and 97 games on The Hilltop.

The Player of the Week honors are the first Lautier-Ogunleye during his career. He was named the league's Newcomer of the Week once during the 2015-16 campaign.

Lautier-Ogunleye and the Braves return to the court on Wednesday, hosting Jacksonville State as part of the 2018 Cancun Challenge. Game time at Carver Arena is set for 7 p.m.
