For the second-straight month, senior Donte Thomas of the men's basketball team is the Bradley Athlete of the Month, earning the honor after a fan vote for the month of February.

A second-team All-Missouri Valley Conference selection, Thomas led the Braves with 15.7 points and 7.9 rebounds in seven February contests. He scored in double figures in six of the seven games, leading the team in scoring three times and in rebounding on five occasions.

During the month, Thomas moved into the top 10 in school history in career rebounding in a victory at Missouri State on Feb. 21. The month was also highlighted by a career-best 24-point performance against Indiana State in his final home game at Carver Arena on Feb. 24.

The senior finished his career averaging 11.7 points per game to go with 7.2 boards in his final season on campus. He also ranks ninth in school history with 718 career rebounds, while scoring 990 career points.

Thomas earned the Bradley Athlete of the Month accolades after a fan vote on the school's twitter account. Thomas collected 46 percent of the vote to beat out Alex Gray of baseball (20 percent), Michael Ward of the men's track team (19 percent) and Taylor Ledwein of women's golf (15 percent).
