The Bradley men's basketball program announced the addition of Armon Brummett (Decatur, Ill.) on Wednesday after the highly-decorated guard signed his National Letter of Intent to join the Braves for the 2018-19 season.

A 6-4 guard from Decatur, Illinois, Brummett was named the Herald & Review Macon County Player of the Year following a senior campaign that saw him average 18.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game at MacArthur High School. Brummett also collected IHSA All-State Second Team honors, while earning first-team all-county and all-conference accolades.

"We're excited that Armon is joining the Bradley family," said Braves head coach Brian Wardle. "He fits into our culture both on the court and in the classroom. He is also very athletic, brings a lot of versatility and toughness to our program and plays with an intensity that is contagious. Armon has always been a successful multi-sport athlete and with his focus now just on basketball, his upside is tremendous. We're excited to get into the gym and work with him when he arrives on campus this summer."

Brummett joins a Bradley program that finished the 2017-18 season with a 20-13 record. One of just four schools in the country to improve by at least five wins in each of the last two years, the Braves earned a top-five seed for the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament and advanced to the league semifinals for the first time since 2010.
