PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley Men's Golf head coach Jeff Roche added a pair of events to the 2018 Spring schedule for his squad, announcing Thursday the Braves will face nationally-ranked Illinois in a duel Saturday, April 14 in addition to sending individuals to take part in the Beu Mussatto Invitational April 16 & 17.

Bradley will make the short trip to Urbana, Ill., to face Illinois, which was ranked 13th in the latest Golf Coaches Association of America Top 25, in an 18-hole, match-play duel Saturday, April 14 at the par-72 Stone Creek Golf Course.  The teams will tee off at 10 a.m.

"The team is excited to play a nationally ranked opponent," said Roche.  "A rare match play event, coupled with playing on a solid course presented a great opportunity to get another day of competition under our belt heading into the conference championship." 

Along with the matchup against Illinois, the Braves will send individuals to play in the 46th annual Beu Mussatto Invitational April 16 & 17 at the Harry Mussatto Golf Course in Macomb, Ill.

The duel against Illinois and Bue Mussatto Invitational will mark the final outings for Bradley heading into the 2018 Missouri Valley Conference Championship which will be held April 23 & 24 at Dalhousie Golf Club in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
