The Bradley men's basketball program rounded out its 2018 recruiting class with the addition of Ja'Shon Henry (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), announced on Saturday.

The 6-foot-5-inch, 225-pound guard/forward joins the Bradley program after a decorated high-school career in Canada. Henry averaged 28.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists during his senior season at Athol Murray College of Notre Dame in Wilcox, Saskatchewan. He was named the National Preparatory Association Most Valuable Player, while becoming the first student-athlete from Saskatchewan to be selected a BioSteel and Signature All-Canadian.

"We are excited to finalize our 2018 class with Ja'Shon Henry," said Bradley head coach Brian Wardle. "We were prepared to sit on our last scholarship for the year unless we came across a special person and a special player that could really bring value to our program. Ja'Shon is an impressive young man that will make a smooth transition into our locker room. He is a strong and explosive athlete that knows how to score. He can play multiple positions and impacts the game in many different ways. He adds great depth to our roster."

The ninth-ranked player in Canada, Henry led the Hounds to an undefeated regular season in 2017-18 and was a two-time first-team NPA All-Star during his career.

Henry completes the four-man Bradley recruiting class as he joins junior transfer Chudier Bile and freshmen Ari Boya and Armon Brummett as the newest Braves.

"This recruiting class, physically and athletically, is the most gifted my staff and I have signed at Bradley," Wardle said. "Their length, explosiveness and versatility complements our returning players really well. They all have areas that they need to improve in, but if they are committed to our program standards and expectations, it is going to be a fun ride!"

Henry joins a Bradley team that finished the 2017-18 season with a 20-13 record. One of just four schools in the country to improve by at least five wins in each of the last two years, the Braves earned a top-five seed for the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament and advanced to the league semifinals for the first time since 2010.
