Bloomington, Ind. – On the first day of the Gladstein Invitational at Indiana University, seven Braves added their names to the Bradley record books and placed among the top-10 times in school history.

Sophomore McKenzie Altmayer led the list of strong performances by making her debut in the 3,000m run and clocking the fifth-best time in Bradley history. Altmayer ran the distance in 9:52.79 to finish sixth in the fast section of the race.

Two other BU women recorded top-10 marks. Senior Niamh Markham shaved more than 14 seconds off her previous PR in the mile and ran the seventh-fastest time in school history at 4:55.42. Freshman Hannah Ivy quickly made her mark on the 400m dash top-10 performance list and posted the ninth-fastest time at 1:01.34.

Seniors Haran Dunderdale and Michael Ward led the Braves in the mile run for the men, placing first and second, respectively, in the fast section at Indiana. Dunderdale missed his PR by two tenths of a second and crossed the finish line in first place in 4:05.35, while Ward followed closely behind in 4:06.31. Junior Simon Paige also clocked in at 4:12.92 in the mile – the ninth-best time in school history.

In the 3,000m run, junior Jake Hoffert set his career-best time in 8:14.92 to place fourth overall and finish with the sixth-best mark in the school's record book. Senior David Shadid placed third in the 400m run in 48.50 – just 0.24 seconds off his own school record – while freshman Alex Klinkner posted the 10th-fastest time in BU history in 51.89. Freshman Miguel Agyei rounded out the strong performances for the Braves by posting the fifth-best mark in the 60m dash in 7.28 seconds.

Bradley wraps up action at Indiana with day two of the Gladstein Invitational on Saturday, beginning at 9:45 a.m. CT.
