Men’s Golf Closes Out Play At Flyer Invitational

KETTERING, Ohio -- Senior Alex Ciaramitaro was the top finisher for Bradley Men's Golf for the third consecutive outing, tying for 26th to pace the Braves at the Flyer Invitational, which wrapped up Tuesday at the par-71 NCR Country Club South Course.

All five Bradley individuals fired in the 70's during Tuesday's final round, paced by junior Jalen Hodges' team-best three-over 74. Ciaramitaro was the top finisher for the Braves, however, carding a six-over 77 on the final day to tie for 26th overall at 12-over 225. Ciaramitaro finished three shots out of the top 20.

Freshman Josh Kirkham matched Ciaramitaro's 77 to wrap up the tournament and finished with his lowest three-round total of the year at 14-over 227 to tie for 31st.

Fellow freshman Nick Armbrust also had his lowest three-round score of his young Bradley career, firing a final round 78 to tie for 68th at 239.

The third round three-over 74 for Hodges helped him finish one shot back of Armbrust in 70th at 240. Freshman John Stillman returned to the course after withdrawing midway through the second round to fire a final round 78.

Bradley had its lowest round of the tournament, closing out the event with a 306, and took 11th in the field at 930. Akron was 10th overall, 15 shots better than the Braves at 915. Wright State claimed the team title at 21-over (873) to edge second-place finisher Cleveland State (878) by five strokes.

Bradley closes out its fall schedule Oct. 21 & 22 at the Little Rock Invitational in Little Rock, Ark.
