Bradley Tennis Heads to ITA Central Region Championships

NORMAN, OK – For the second consecutive year, all seven members of the Bradley Tennis team will compete at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Central Region Championship to conclude the fall individual tournament season. The 2019 ITA Central Region Championship will be hosted by the University of Oklahoma with pre-qualifying action beginning Thursday at the Heading Family Tennis Center.

While six Braves will open tournament play in the pre-qualifying bracket, junior Sandra Maletin will represent Bradley in the 128-player main draw. Maletin sports a 7-1 singles record to date this fall. Her 45 career singles wins are tied for 11th in Bradley Women's Tennis history and she is sixth all-time with her .672 (45-22) winning percentage as a singles player.

The complete singles and doubles draws for the 2019 ITA Central Region Championships is expected to be revealed late Wednesday night with pre-qualifying matches to begin Thursday morning. Tournament results will be updated regularly at SoonerSports.com and any matches played on the indoor courts at the Headington Family Tennis Center may be viewed via PlaySight.
