Ciaramitaro Leads Men’s Golf At Little Rock Invite

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Senior Alex Ciaramitaro fired a career-best two-under 70 in the opening round of the Little Rock Invitational Monday and is tied for 33^rd overall, while Bradley Men's Golf closed the day 15^th in the team standings.

Ciaramitaro had the low round of the season for the Braves with a career-best two-under 70 in Monday's opening round at the par-72 Chenal Country Club's Bear Den Course. In addition to his four opening-round birdies, he carded an eagle on the par-4, 430-yard 6^th hole during his first round. After his first-round 70, Ciaramitaro turned in a 78 in the afternoon and is tied for 33^rd overall at 148, two shots out of the top 20, to pace the Braves.

Bradley had one of its lowest rounds of the season in the morning, shooting a first-round 304, but posted a second-round 320 and is 15^th in the field at 624. UT Arlington will head into Tuesday's final round 12 shots better than the Braves in 14^th (612). Only five shots separate first from seventh in the team standings, paced by Eastern Michigan at one-over 577. Oral Roberts and tournament-host Little Rock are tied for second overall at two-over 578.

Freshman John Stillman chased a first-round 77 with an 80 and is tied for 74^th overall (157), while fellow freshman Josh Kirkham is one shot back of Stillman in a tie for 76^th (158) after posting a pair of 79's Monday. Junior Jalen Hodges is 86^th overall at 163, carding rounds of 78 and 85 on the opening day. Freshman Nick Armbrust rounds out the team scoring for the Braves in 87th (167), after rounds of 84 and 83.

The final round of the Little Rock Invitational tees off Tuesday at 8:15 a.m. with a shotgun start.
