The Bradley basketball team plays its final home game before the holiday break on Sunday, hosting Georgia Southern. First tip at Carver Arena is slated for 4 p.m. on ESPN3.
 

PROMOTIONS
• Sunday is East Peoria Community Day. Any fan with an East Peoria or Creve Coeur address can present its license at the box office on game day for two white level tickets for 50% off.
• Families can take their holiday picture with Kaboom! on the court following the game.
• All Bradley apparel will be 25 percent off at the merchandise kiosk at Carver Arena.

ABOUT THE BRAVES
• Bradley is 7-3 during the 2019-20 campaign after back-to-back 30-plus point victories against North Carolina A&T and Maryville.
Elijah Childs has averaged 20.0 points and 10.3 boards during the last three games. He now leads BU with 15.0 points and 9.4 rebounds this season.
• Senior Darrell Brown is second on the team with 12.0 points to go with a BU-best 5.2 assists.
• Senior Nate Kennell also scores in double-figures with 11.5 points per game, leading BU from the 3-point line with a 45.6 percentage.
• The Braves are averaging 72.9 points per game, while allowing 63.5 defensively.
 

SERIES HISTORY
• The Braves and Eagles have met six prior times with the home team winning each matchup.
• Overall, Bradley leads the series with Georgia Southern, 4-2.
• The schools traded home victories the last two seasons with Bradley posting a 62-57 win in 2017 before the Eagles earned a 79-74 overtime victory last season.
 

BRAVES VERSUS SUN BELT
• Bradley is 10-12 all-time against schools when in the Sun Belt with a 15-9 record against current members.
• BU lost its most recent matchup with the league at Georgia Southern last year. Bradley had won three-straight versus the conference prior.
 

ABOUT THE EAGLES
• Georgia Southern enters Carver Arena with a 6-3 record, winning its last two games against Florida Gulf Coast and Carver.
• Ike Smith leads the Eagles with 15.9 points, while Elijah McCadden is right behind with 15.8 points.
• Five Eagles, overall, average in double figures – Isaiah Crawley (14.0), Quan Jackson (11.2) and Calvin Wishart (10.4).
• Simeon Carter has a team-best 6.2 rebounds, while Wishart leads with the team with 4.4 assists.
• Georgia Southern averages 84.2 points per game, while allowing 73.3. The Eagles also force their opponent into 20.4 turnovers per game.
 

HOME SWEET HOME
• Bradley looks to continue its home dominance when its hosts Georgia Southern on Sunday.
• The Braves are a perfect 6-0 at home this season and dating back to last year, Bradley owns a 10-game winning streak at Carver Arena.
• The Braves' 10 game run is tied for the longest in the Valley and the 18th-longest in the nation. It is also the second-longest in Coach Wardle's five seasons on campus (had 14-game run in 2017-18).
• Five of the 10 wins have come by at least 25 points as Bradley is outscoring opponents by an average of 75.5 to 56.4 during the winning streak.
 

DOMINANT VICTORIES
• The Braves are coming off two of their best games of the season – defeating North Carolina A&T, 83-52, and Maryville, 91-58.
• It marks the first time that Bradley has won back-to-back games by at least 30 points since topping Valparaiso (100-47) and Ball State (106-73) during the 1980-81 season.
• BU is shooting 56.8 percent in the last two games, while holding its foes to 31.4 percent.
• Add in its 34-point win against IUPUI, Bradley has three 30-point victories overall this year – also a first for the team since 1980-81.

• The Braves have done a good job of passing the ball, leading to an improved scoring offense.
• Bradley ranks 55th nationally with 15.8 assists per game after averaging 12.1 a season ago. BU is also 40th nationally by posting an assist on 58.5 percent of its field goals this year.
• In Tuesday's win, Bradley collected 27 assists – its most since recording 30 against Florida A&M on Nov. 21, 2006.
Darrell Brown leads BU with 5.2 assists per game, ranking second in the MVC and 50th in the NCAA.
• Overall, Bradley is averaging 72.9 points per game during the 2019-20 campaign. The Braves have not featured a scoring offense of greater than 70.0 since the 2007-08 season.
 

CHILDS PLAY
• Junior Elijah Childs is leading the Braves during the 2019-20 season.
• In the last three games, Childs is averaging 20.0 points and 10.3 rebounds – scoring at least 20 in back-to-back games for the first time during his career against nationally-ranked Memphis and North Carolina A&T.
• The junior now leads BU with 15.0 points and 9.4 rebounds per game.
• No Brave has led the team in both categories since Theron Wilson in 2008-09, while Childs is looking to become the first Brave to average 9.0 boards a game since Luke Jackson in 1988-89.
